Hope you’re having a terrific week! I was in Houston over the weekend doing a training at the Harris County Democratic Party. It was fantastic to meet people who are engaged in the political process and work with them to improve their technical skills. If you want to learn how to get more politically involved, let me know!
- Are you looking for habits to help you ease your stress? Here are 4 suggestions. I’m trying to maintain my hydration so I’ve been drinking 16 oz of warm water with lemon when I start my morning.

- Do you believe in signs? I’m a bit superstitious & a bit of “what the heck, it wouldn’t hurt for good luck”. If you’re looking for signs in your life about whether you should keep going on or call it a day, here’s what you should be looking for so that you can make a decision.

- Did you know that I’m a Jill of all trades and a master of nothing? Well, maybe a few things. I really do believe that I can’t be an expert on everything and that most people should have teams/friends who complement what may be considered weaknesses. I’m all for learning and self investment. It’s important to recognize when it’s better to hire someone for the job or make a small initial investment to see if you can go for a bigger investment later. Time is precious and having using it wisely to your benefit is critical in how you getting stronger in the areas that matter to you.

- If you’re trying to avoid burnout while being more productive then you should stop thinking about only accomplishing your checklist of things to do. Changing small behaviors can increase your productivity only if you make the investment. Who wants to be overworked? I better not see anyone with a raised hand?!

- There is still 10 months to 2018 and that means you have time ahead of you to meet your goals for the year. Some people like to ease into it and skip January as a goal setting month. So if you’re in need of a boost to help you on your way, look no further. Don’t be afraid of failing and don’t let that fear control you. You’ll be doing scary stuff in no time (a reminder for me to get back on the surf board!).

- Looking for a playlist that will reduce anxiety? It’s scientifically proven that these songs can reduce your heart rate and in fact, the number one song is so effective, it’s advised that you don’t listen to it while driving. Let me know what songs you like to relieve stress.

- Did you miss the Facebook Live with Anna Chu from the National Women’s Law Center? You can catch it here at a time that’s convenient for you! Let me know your thoughts in the comments section. Thanks for tuning in!
See you next Tuesday! Thanks for reading/sharing/subscribing!
